Projects

These projects are different things that have been worked on, sometimes for longer than expected, and others begun recently. There are excerpts of what they mean, where they started, and essentially a short narrative of why they exist—and maybe where they are going and taking us.

Willingness of AI-powered Maintenance During COVID-Pandemic

Why in the world does this exist? In 2020, February, Lillian began to hear the news and see how in other countries there was something showing up, making people sick, killing others, and no one knew what to do about it. By that time she decided to listen to the news every day. It was NPR, CNN, and whatever else she could get her hands on at all times. Eventually, the news got more serious, now it wasn't only in Asia but throughout the world, affecting every country, with circumstances that were cause of too much trouble to overlook from any perspective.

From 2012 on Lillian has been working on analytics and finding patterns of sentiments, people, and what [we] all talk about. Analyzing the Internet and interactions on [it]. In 2019, she began designing chatbots and using AI to design conversations. This data collection came when she wanted to see how others felt about using a platform like hers in tiomes of crisis. Would they consider the aptitude of artificial intelligence, at the time, valid enough to help them stay alive? Below is a robust visualization of the findings.

The Project has now moved onto the Open Science Foundation, where it can be found for collaboration purposes with other researchers. Its purpose is a contionued exploration of the longitudinal aspects, within various parameters, of Artificial Intelligence vis a vis human beings—how we behave with machines.
